If you run into trouble, please call your local Board of Elections while you are still at the polling location. Let me repeat that: WHILE YOU ARE STILL AT THE POLLING LOCATION. You can also ask that the person in charge at the location (the title varies widely all over the county) call the Board to resolve the issue.

The problem with that is that everyone would then be precincted at that geographic location. Depending on where it was located and how much of the population it would serve, that would potentially have people voting in a district that they don’t actually live in, which would really defeat the purpose.
