Pretty funny. Also, it was nice of the guy to play up the terrible noise that the Crash enemies make when they see you and then proceed to talk nonstop for the next five and a half minutes so that you can’t ever really hear said noise over his voice and the low game volume.

EVE’s money is mostly earned ingame. EVE has a PLEX system that people can buy for 20$, they then sell that PLEX for 1 billion isk. Calculating this back gives the 17000$ headlines.
