RIP UYD writeups. It mostly got undeservedly shoved down into The Rest anyway though so whatever.

I guess we'll have to talk about it.

I feel the same way about how often UYD gets put in The Rest for not being bombastic enough or whatever. It's not as if I'll ever skip one, it would be like skipping a week of seeing your friends. Though I agree they seemed a little overwhelmed by the Denver crowd on this episode.

My favorite part was when they teased Only The Strong, my favorite "teacher who knows Capoeira shapes up a class of troubled youths and takes down organized crime" movie. I should've called it in for listener request month.

I'd like to start this podmass with this: can't all the fans of the big three "bad movie" podcasts just get along? As a subscriber to We Hate Movies, Flophouse and How Did This Get Made, the shitty film podcast wars break my heart. Where's the love?

And yet UYD has episodes that get dumped into The Rest when I am so excited by a new ep that I drop everything when it plops. I don't care what they talk about, just that they do.

It was great but it fell prey to a little of what I worried about when I heard they were doing it.
