There is already an EV tax in place in many states. Its included in your registration tags. Ranges from around $30 per year to $200 per year. I’d say we pay out fair share.

That 25k mile study is extremely old data. Today, it’s less than 6000 miles and even less than that if the EV is charged at home off solar.

Sold my Model Y, when non-elect President Musk gave his Hitler salutes. Was planning to trade it in for the new Juniper variant too. Another sale lost for Tesla and I just happen to be in California. Hopefully the board of Tesla get tired of Musk’s crap and oust him. If they do, I’ll go back.

It funny that you think Tesla is the only car to ever camouflage a door handle on the interior. It’s happened in numerous cars over the last century, but they weren’t EV’s for you to throw a tantrum at, where they?

Please do me a favor and look up the cost of EVs like the Chevy Volt and then spec a similar ICE vehicle, then show us the cost difference. I think you’ll find that the Bolt is cheaper up front.

Sure, but electricity is not made from nothing.”

It’s unfortunate that if this is what you truly believe, then the information is not getting out to the average Joe. You can buy an EV for less than many gas powered cars. There are several EV’s that can be bought new, for under $40k, like the Chevy Bolt which is selling for $27k. Not all EV’s are $100k+.

See Detroit as a prime example of how awesome the UAW is.
