They have money to set on fire, I guess. How long until they turn off Kinja to purge the loyalists?

Timmy and Jenny can ride behind me in an Uber, 2 seats FTW!!

I saw the photo and thought “is that that sideshow bob motherfucka Felliani?” and I don’t even have a reason to hate him. I don’t watch that much soccer, just enough to recognize and hate his face.

Jeezus, that pretty thing is ugly!

So it’s definitely going to ESPN+ in 2020, I would say. As soon as they figure out how to do auto-inserted commercials.

This is one of the best Funbags I have read in a while!

I said to my 44 year-old, 6'1" self, dude, you can still make the NBA, just work on your J.

I decided about 10 years ago that if it’s good enough for NASCAR and (older)F1, then it’s gotta make my VW faster.

You are correct, Sir! I’ve been to a bunch of states for work, not by choice, including Idaho. I was there for a week, saw 2 Black people, both at Applebees, which I was forced to eat at. Arkansas is on my no-go list, and I went to Mississippi for work. In MS, at a restaurant, I actually had an old white lady question

I’m so glad they moved out of my commute path. That 81 games a year of traffic was a real pain in the ass getting home.

Super common in the south of course. There are an uncommon # of subdivisions, apartments with Plantation or Colony in the name. They never get a second look from me.

I mean, yeah. Cocktail/blowjob parties thrown by contractors are kind of like magic when it comes to getting you to hire them. And their powerpoints probably totally promised 20% increases in productivity every quarter.

Exactly, they don’t want to have a paper record of why the guy sucked, or taking the time to figure out if he does. It’s like teenagers asking ‘ so do you think she’s cute? Oh, me neither.’

Also, a lot of contract companies require the main company to pay a buyout fee if they want to convert a temp to permanent. Why not just string them along for years instead of paying 50% of a year’s salary to secure them? It’s really a shit system with minimal protection in most states due to our right-to-work

Shouldn’t he be trying to hire quality full-time people, or offer a path to conver from contract to permanent for exceptional contractors. This seems like the bitch way out because there aren’t enough managers in place that know how to, uh, manage contractors.

Aren’t they the same guys that bought the Braves and then traded all the talent they had developed and watched them win World Series Titles with other teams? This should go well.

I think they’re also counting on the aging of America. My 75 year old parents visitted and rented, they had trouble getting into a Malibu, so we took it back and got a Whatever-Chevy-Midsize-SUV. The interiors are the same, ride about the same, and they don’t drive fast anyway. They bought a Mazda CX-9 last year

Producer: Does Idris Elba have 4 free weeks? OK, yeah, let’s make this shit. No, I didn’t read the script, just make it!

I have the promo DVDs for the series and it’s one of the few things I would save in a house fire.
