I'm not sure why you think that "rich person murder cult" is the solution to the mystery. If that were the solution, it seems like they would have held it until the last episode.

Also, how great was Seeger at Obama's inauguration?  He got to play This Land is Your Land—the real, whole version—to the entire country, and I think he just about exploded from happiness.
