The downplaying of this in the comment section is amazing. Dismissing this as just a troll is not the way to go, since Trump has been elected hate crimes have risen by a huge amount (yes even in New York). Minorities are feeling afraid and the “troll” who did this knows that.

The ability to differentiate between genuine hate and just trolling assholes is going to be key in the upcoming years.

The thing is, this graffiti, trolling or not, still contributes to normalisation of open racism. It must still be opposed.

Interestigly, I was reading an article not too long ago (I think maybe even somewhere on Kinja) that was talking about how Woody Guthrie (author and composer of pretty much the most quintessentially American song ever written) wrote a song in protest of DJT’s father after living in one of his NYC housing developments…

If there is one consolation for me it is this: NYC, the hometown of that guy, hates him with a fervent passion. Give him hell all you big apple dwellers.   

When I think of what Chelsea Clinton endured as a child in the White House, I really just don’t think Barron will get it nearly as bad.

The relationships in this family are so bizarre. Even the way the ”family source” talks about Melanie and Baron... “they’re very close”... well I would certainly fucking hope so?? He’s a child and that’s his mom, one would just assume they were close. It would only be noteworthy if they weren’t, am I right?

You guys, I’m so excited that my tax dollars will be paying for this.
