Yeah, this happened at a suburban Detroit middle school yesterday:

My father is a WWII vet, he fought in the pacific theater. I am afraid he will watch everything he fought for be destroyed by Republicans now. Our fathers and EVERY SINGLE MINORITY IN THIS COUNTRY deserve better. We all do.

I know right?! For people so concerned about the preservation of Anglo-Saxon culture and heritage they don’t seem to care much about the English language.

I’m from a Jewish-heavy part of the region. People I know, Jewish people, live near that storefront. Never before have so many of my friends talked about fearing antisemitism here, in the present, on American soil.

Reading that screed, I couldn’t help but wonder: Did Trump and Palin learn from the KKK? Or did the KKK learn from them?

I’ve been seeing a lot of Trump voters be whiny and defensive about their vote since Tuesday, and complaining that people keep suggesting they’re racists because of it.

A friend of mine is the child of Holocaust survivors living in Philly. She’s legitimately terrified today.

Your father’s experiences are the most important resource we have right now, as much as it breaks my heart. There are reasons to be afraid and reasons to have hope, but every single American should know what to look out for

Tell your father a resistance is already brewing. We’re not going to stand for this.

I’m just pointing to stuff like this every time someone says Bernie would have won. The antisemitism was pretty flagrant this campaign season and the “elite media” is a damn dog whistle that’s been trotted out by everyone who’s feeling even a little resentful, so on what planet do you think they would have gone for…

If there’s one thing I’ve learned. It’s that the forefathers did NOT mix with other races... ever... like ever ever... not even once...
