Ed Harris is closing in on 70. It would be nice if this still counted as middle-aged. I don’t think it does. Michelle Pfeiffer, somehow, is probably knocking on the door of old age too. But Javier Bardem is definitely middle-aged.

Why is she so often cast in roles which are clearly for women in their thirties or forties? It’s not even the normal hollywood thing, it’s a specific weirdness around her- it’s not like she looks older. Bardem is 48, she’s 26.

Trump has to be in court Aug. 14 for the emoluments lawsuit. Blumenthal is the lead plaintiff. That’s why there is a twitter storm coming from that orange asshole.

I have no idea how that “Trump’s gonna pivot” horse is still running. It hasn’t won a race yet.

Remember when people said “Kelly’s gonna tighten the ship and help Trump pivot to a more traditionally presidential image?”

I swear to god he treats the entire presidency like its a summer job at his uncle’s store that he wasn’t actually planning on taking until Mom made him. He hasn’t staffed offices, he didn’t bother to book hotel rooms for major events, and announces “YUP WORKING HARD!” whenever he thinks someone might be looking.

Imagine, if you will, if the White House’s previous occupant regularly lost his shit and rage tweeted while being completely unable to regulate his tone, mood, words, and terrible temper. Imagine if a woman was President and acted like Trump, an emotional lunatic unable to tell the truth even when it would be rational…

I don’t mean to take a victory lap (ok, yes, I’m taking a victory lap), but I called the Twitter relapse in Friday’s Barf Bag comments (http://theslot.jezebel.com/1797553966).

You know what’s sad, is that today is the first day that I’ve felt like, “Okay, at least he wasn’t THAT insane.”
