I remember watching the original Ninja Warrior when I was in college on of those really up there cable channels, and I absolutely cannot believe how big it’s gotten! I agree, it is really nice to see such a positive sporting activity, it’s so refreshing.

I give the announcers a large amount of credit for the reasons why American Ninja Warrior has pulled out from its lowly origins as a G4 Network version of the Japanese show (Sasuke) into what it is now.

Holy crap. That is crazy impressive.

Jessie Graff is the gun show:

I love the announcer on the right (I didn’t catch his name), he is always so genuinely enthusiastic about the women competitors and an absolute delight in every NW clip I watch. He’s a good egg and clearly a huge Jessie Graff fan, who is absolutely extraordinary and worthy of fandom!

I was watching this the other night (while on Twitter and eating pork sandwiches- best life, covered) and I let out a huge yell.

After watching almost every dude before her fail, it was really remarkable to see this lady step up and crush it.

I’m emoting so hard right now. And sending this to all my friends, especially the ones with girls. :D Wonder Woman and BAMF are too tame of terms for Graff. I just love her so much.

Real life superhero.

i like this show a lot, i enjoy that the lead is a normal looking person and her co-workers are all normal looking. i LOVE that it is set in my town! the scene in the park is FRICK PARK! hey! and we go there like every weekend to walk the dog, it is right down the street from my house!

Just a few thoughts from somebody who hasn’t thought much about this: what seems common to these women and other teachers who have been apprehended having sex with students is that they are all pretty-ish and all young-looking for their age. I wonder if they aren’t also all afraid of growing older, too. And perhaps…

I’ll have to give it a chance—I loved Alison Tolman in season 1 of Fargo, so at this point everything she does gets at least 15 minutes of trial-watching from me.

Please.

She is an absolutely delight. The show deserves to be renewed - please watch tonight!
