It’s adorable when they think they have a clue about the impact of terrorism on Brits.

Sit the heck down

The way you defeat terrorism is BY GIVING NO FUCKS. The point of terrorism is to inspire fear and division and paranoia. If you want to beat terrorism, you must not be a silly, bed wetting American. You have to have a stiff fucking upper lip and give no fucks.

By ‘our people’ I mean Brits and by ‘Brits’, I mean people from or living in Britain (i.e. including immigrants). I’m not quite sure what you’re yelling about, champ.

Now it looks like Trump wants to visit London. Haven’t we been through enough already? We don’t need some self-serving fluorescent orange bellend coming over here, so that he can score some cheap political points in the US media.

While these articles on News Thump are satirical, they’re also pretty accurate.

I’m sorry but that’s nonsense. Which papers are you reading? I’m a Londoner and we all accept there are risks to living in a big city (air pollution, crime, poverty, traffic accidents etc). However, there are some key issues to remember before you start mouthing off about ‘failure of multiculturalism’:

Dara O’Briain did a great bit about the 2005 bombings and how the London response was ‘Oh my God, there’s a bomb on the Piccadilly Line *long pause* Well, I could take the Victoria Line’.

It is the way of our people.

Goddamn set of brass balls on every single person there. Well done Ms. Grande and fans. A bunch of young girls just showed the world how to take on terrorism. Fucking A.

A couple of people ooh-d in the theatre when he said that. Great line

Miley has a phenomenal voice, that’s true. But having listened to it again (I was driving during this part and couldn’t pay too much attention or I would have crashed the car) it’s clear that this duet is much more in Miley’s natural range than Ariana’s. Ariana’s tessitura is at least half an octave above Miley’s.

I’m not ashamed to say I cried a bit (a lot!) I’m a Mancunian so this was close to home for us. (30 minutes away) The arena and OT cricket ground are pretty much local venues. 3 of our friends had taken their kids to her arena concert, all of them went back tonight. Ariana and everyone who performed did us all proud -

Oh my gosh! Ari comforting the soloist as she cried - I cried, too. And it takes a lot to make me cry. It was just an honest fucking moment.

For all her shenanigans Miley has a pretty great voice.

All the feels. I hardly knew Ariana before, but she put on a great show, and she’s only 23! Personal highlights: Pharrell & Miley singing Happy, Miley and Ariana singing Don’t Dream Its Over, Chris Martin singing the Oasis classic Don’t Look Back In Anger and Fix You (and yes I know I’m supposed to hate him but his

“and, in order to appeal for foreign audiences, [it has] very little reference to America at all.”

So this is the most successful DC movie to date? And Harley Quin was the breakout character of Suicide Squad, enough to get her own movie. I’m just hoping the idiots in charge see this as a trend and greenlight lots more female led superhero movies.

I enjoyed the movie so much, and then got all pissed all over again when I saw Mnuchin’s name.

I mean Wonder Woman’s also an icon of feminism, the LGBT community, and pacifism, but let’s go with “she fights for America.”
