There is nothing inherently wrong with any kind of marriage. The whole “Indian society makes a large emphasis of the needs of the greater family unit at the expense of the individual” thing makes a ton of sense. If both parties were asked to sacrifice the same amount, yeah I can see how this can work.

I think there is nothing inherently wrong with arranged marriage. Having your family find a suitable person for you via a selection process is certainly a better system of finding a mate than what most people I know did, which is getting drunk with people you go to school with or sometimes work with.

Yes, Fury Road was praised for the role women played in it, but I never saw a single positive review that didn’t ALSO credit Hardy’s acting, the brilliant cinematography, stunning direction, high octane action, and jaw dopping pacing.

I’m not sure what planet you’re visiting us from, but here on Earth people liked Fury

Higher Ups/Executives: “The audiences have spoken, we need more Chris Pine in all our movies.”

Regardless of gender politics, you didn’t like Fury Road?

We just can’t wait until Thursday night!

You mean the Mad Max movie that turned out to be the best thing happening to cinema in this decade? If WW turns out only half as good it’s a success.

Kyra approves!

That, and Catwoman is not a superhero.

“DC’s historic, first female-led superhero movie”

I remember the card on top of her casket that read “Mummy” with the boys walking behind. I still get choked up when I see a footage of it.

I remember how small and solemn they looked behind their mother’s casket. Heartbreaking.

I feel for him, so much. I lost my mom 17 years ago and it’s still painful in a number of ways. Knowing my kids will never know her is the hardest part.

My admiration for them only grows. I can’t imagine being born into such a difficult job and doing it so well.

I’m grateful for it. After Carrie Fisher died I felt very distraught and I really mourned the loss of someone who advocated for people like me with all her heart, because she was a person like me.

I feel for Prince William & Harry. I lost my mom 8 years ago. Although she met my husband, she missed key life moments. I.e. Our engagement, Wedding, Buying a house & hardest of all, most recently, the birth of our daughter. Losing a parent is always hard to deal with but to have to deal with it in such a public way

Both William and Harry’s efforts for mental health awareness (plus Lady Gaga) in the last few months are probably the most effective things that the royals have done for the betterment of the world since Princess Diana hugged and shook hands (without gloves) with an AIDS patient in 1991.
