Keira Knightly helped me realize that there’s nothing wrong with being flat-chested. She was a big style icon for me as a teen, and I admired her for talking openly and with humor about the way they photoshopped her chest on the King Arthur posters.

Have you read David Niven’s two books? He tells wonderful stories of Hollywood’s Golden Age. The books are funny and poignant without being salacious. One of my favorite bits is when Niven shared a house with Errol Flynn that they named “Cirrhosis-by-the-Sea” because of the non-stop partying that went on there.

I think you’re the first person who has ever brought up and recommended We’re No Angels other than me in my sphere of awareness. It is my favorite Christmas movie, and just a great movie in general. So many great lines. A zillion stars for you.

The plot of The Mirror Crack’d is based partially around the birth of her first child - she hugged a fan who turned out to have German Measles. Tierney contracted them and her daughter was born with learning disabilities and all sorts of issues.

A bit OT, but I always maintained that Gene Tierney was the most beautiful actress of all-time, specifically in Otto Preminger’s Laura. Sadly she battled mental health issues for much of her life.

This movie and the original We’re No Angels are THE BEST. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve watched them both, starting when I was maybe 5 years old.
