About a decade or so ago (shortly after PS4 and Xbox One launched) I was a Gamestop employee. My first full non training day actually. I was told to go out and clean the window and door just before closing. As I was out there a guy ran up towards me with a gun and put it to my back and walked me inside the store. Kept

Does it matter?  Go read their article and tape their picture up in the bathroom if you like it so much

All of the above, saw 3 cars with DRLs or no lights at all just tonight on the drive home.

Not everywhere is as smart as Michigan”

well, the silly part is that they literally say that ice expands in the part i quoted, and then go on to talk about the water taking up more space in the pipe once the ice melts in literally the next sentence

thank you. I knew someone did not understand that ice takes more space than water when I read the article.

“When the water in your pipes freezes, it expands, stressing your pipe. If you have all the faucets closed when the water starts to melt, it will have nowhere to go, so it will soon create somewhere to go.” i know you didn’t expound this concept whole cloth on your own...but it’s still.....wrong
the pipes burst because

Reminds me of a quote I heard from a park ranger about the challenges in designing bear-proof garbage containers:

They worked really hard and are ultimately easily replicable.  Staring into the abyss is very scary.

It’s absolutely overblown. And worse, even if it’s The Absolute Worst Thing to Ever Happen yo Art, a ton of non tech reporting on the topic (including here at Kotaku) is grossly misinformed about what options are even AVAILABLE to platforms like ArtStation to combat the trend.

why are these complaints not levelled at other AI things, where are the scientists complaining their work is being used by drug discovery AIs, the coders complaining their code snippets are being used by AI code completion systems, the writers complaining that GPT3 is stealing their work. why is it only seemingly

This is the car I would strictly race with in Gran Turismo 3.

yeah I miss the days when we had ball, upside down ball, slime, other slime, other slime’s dad, literally just a seal, some eggs, pink puffball, pink puffball, pink puffball, pink puffball, pink puffball...

Every single generation has its complicated designs and its simple designs.

Oh man, a white version of a brown pokemon, slightly renamed to WIGlett, seems really funny to me. When does The Root pick this up?

Would have probably extended the lifespan of the manual transmission if we weren’t approaching going to EV’s so fast. It is a perfect answer for manufacturers to economically offer both convenience and enthusiast engagement, one box to rule them all. A maker could install the same transmission unit in every single car

It’s one thing to have brilliant batshit crazy ideas, it is a whole other thing to be take and be able to actually make them work in the real world. If a normal person has an idea and a light bulb turns on then when he has an idea a lighthouse beacon must start to flash. Takes a truly brilliant person to be able to

Yeah I said this on another post, but I swear they cloned Gordan Murry and made him a bald swede.  They are both BONKERS, in the best possible way.

I’m still in love with the cam-less fuel injection system he developed. I wonder if the Saab 9-5 he put it in is still driving. Want to have a rev limiter at 13,000, no problem! There are no cams to blow up at the higher revs. Want to save fuel on boring drives, shut down 1/2 the cylinders or alternate them so you

WAT
I had an ‘82 GL wagon, dark green, 4 speed manual, and the lifesaving 4 low shifter for Colorado mountain winters.
I got it for free from the neighbors when the clutch went out on my first car, the ‘89 Beretta.
I drove that thing into the ground, love-hated it as a 17 year old in high school but it always got me to

I think this is my favorite one so far. I LOVE the wagon
