I was just coming here to say that. I like that movie, cheesy 80s comedy.

Everything that is said or done these days has the potential to outrage someone; I think far too many people are simply looking for something to be outraged by. Forget for a moment that there are numerous legitimate things to get outraged over, too much of that gets ignored. It really is as if no one is ever allowed…
Maybe if they actually get around to making that third movie it will start out with their divorce. Anyone who honestly thought those two should have stayed together, either at the end of the series or the movies, is troubled.
Documentaries are the way to go with this type of subject, I think. "Thin" which was on HBO years ago, followed several women and the staff at a residential eating disorders clinic. Watching that shed a lot of light on these types of disorders for me and helped me to understand why the cycle is so hard to break.
That would be awesome.
The plot of this movie sounds ridiculously tortured. If the writers had to have the parents somehow feel as if they owed their daughter tuition, rather than doing what everyone else does - take out loans, why not have mom and dad lose her tuition money in bad investments or gambling or something, anything other than…
I think the networks really need to stop trying to introduce original series during the summer; it just doesn't work. Even for people much younger than myself, who grew up with cable and the internet and for whom streaming is a normal part of life, summer TV is not supposed to be any good - the only exception being a…
Fortunately, I am not unhappy and my husband says he isn't, but I certainly think he has to be sometimes. I try to encourage him to get involved in things that should fulfill him, but he says he got all of that out of his system when he was young and that he only needs me. It can just be a bit overwhelming to realize…
What about if you have absolutely no hobbies at all, shouldn't that make you eligible to be President of this club? My husband truly does nothing other than go to work. He has no friends other than me and only goes out with me if I beg. He prefers to sit at him, look at dumb shit on his tablet and watch reruns of old…
Kimmy Schmidt was fine it's first season, but I thought the 2nd one was terrible, therefore I haven't revisited it.
It almost feels as if too many shows are destined for low ratings only because there is too much decent TV out there. I haven't seen most of the shows on this list; not because I don't think many of them are worth it, but because there literally aren't enough hours in the day to watch everything worth watching and…
It's on Netflix? I swear I searched for it and couldn't find it; maybe I just missed it. I wanted to check it out from seeing it advertised on Audience.
Yes. While it is a bit of a retread and we all know she wouldn't keep the same team of people around her for each round of failed successes, she does need to be in office or running for it in order for this show to make any sense. This show felt as if it were going at half speed because Selina herself was floundering…
That was hilarious. The most fun I have had watching that show in a long time. Love that Harvey apologized to all previous contestants for giving them a hard time, considering how badly his own family performed. In truth, most of the time the problem is with the questions; the structure of them is so poor that coming…
The Green Mile is one of my favorite King books, but man, it takes you all over the place, emotion-wise. I will never forgive him for killing John Coffey. Seeing the character brought to life so perfectly by Michael Clark Duncan made it hurt that much more. As much as I like the movie, it is hard for me to watch…
Have you read the book by any chance? I wonder if it is any better.
I FINALLY watched two movies this weekend that have been around for a long time, both of which are supposed to be really good, so I was excited for two good cinematic experiences. First up on Friday night was Mulholland Dr. The only good thing I can say about this movie is that Naomi Watts did a good job; everything…
Every time something completely bat shit crazy is threatened by Trump and his cronies, reasonable say "relax, it won't happen". That is what we were led to believe about him being elected and everything he has done since that actually happened. I don't put anything past Republicans and their supporters anymore.
The only problem with that plan is that they have asserted that his tweets are meant to be official policy. They have to be paid attention to, even though they are ridiculous.
Can you imagine all the extra shit Obama would have had to deal with if he talked in the same nonsensical way Trump does? How anyone can convince them self that Trump ever makes sense when he speaks is beyond me. It kills me that his supporters said, during the campaign, that the liked him because he says what he…
