A good rule of thumb: if it makes parents’ lives easier, it is good. If it “enriches” baby’s development, it is probably BS.

I waited until I was a bit older to have kids (I had mine at 33 and 36). While I feel that mentally I am probably a better parent than I would have been in my 20’s, I think physically it would have been much easier. I had so much energy at that age.
