I don't know of any states where talking on a phone is illegal, although there could be some. Many states have a ban on texting while driving. Using a blinking lights app is probably fine.

The wordpress theme actually works much better than the Gawker version. I can actually scroll through the list of articles with the trackpad on my macbook pro.

Looks like they're trying to get their games into the top 10 spots to take advantage of the huge influx of verizon customers. They did this for Christmas too. While it's a great business strategy, it's a really shitty thing to do to the indie developers.

@Gorbishganoid: All software is cashing in on the success of another developer. Every iPhone app sold is cashing in on the success of the developers at Apple.

@LodiGino: Don't act like Taco Bell isn't delicious.

@madmanmat: Name a tablet, that isn't the iPad, with similar size, weight, and speed with a UI that is easy to use without a mouse and keyboard, and is considerably cheaper than the iPad.

@LVP: all DSL service is slow.

@Avastmateys: Ever since I got my iPhone I have been nothing but happy with ATT. I've experienced a few dropped calls, but it's not a regular problem. With Verizon there were monthly bill disputes, terrible service in buildings (while my ATT friends had no trouble), and no service in places they claim have service.

If this drops and I don't have to pay ridiculous amounts, I'll be very sad I bought the 3G iPad.

@astrocramp: but will they be able to make calls? I had shitty service on Verizon before smartphones even existed.

@leeit2me: I don't know why you'd jump ship for slower data that you can't use while on the phone for a price that is pretty much the same.

@data_enabler: Turn the page with your left hand. No seriously, do it without dropping the laptop or setting it down.

@Gators15: Apple is not going to let Verizon announce the iPhone 5. This is a Verizon event, not an Apple event.

I can't imagine them releasing a phone out of band with the ATT version.

Did they actually break the DRM or is this the whole "developers incorrectly checking receipts" thing

@ltmartin: Tweetie 2.0 is now called Twitter for Mac. It's definitely there.

@Stephen Garrett: I became absolutely addicted to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 on my iPhone. I got better at it on the iPhone than I was on my N64.

that logo reminds me of the University of Michigan football helmets.

@Dregas: If you have an iPhone and you hold down the home button and say "Call Dregas" it calls you because iPhones have had that feature for years.
