Nice! That’s totally true. My fave was first row for Venus and Serena playing doubles on the old Grandstand.

That’s some really keen advice. My first impression was ‘this person is starving for some self-reflection.’ And in the process it’s also useful to articulate not just what we need or have done, but think seriously about what we offer and are willing to give.
I like those first few days myself. The only downside is no doubles.
Good call. Those are for the tacos on the menu (tasty). I need him to stay out of one of my favorite lunch spots.
Thank you for confirming that this is a new weird thing. When they started asking about snacks a few months ago, my first thought was, “Wait, do I look hungry? Are you hungry? Why are you asking me this?”
Pretty much, yeah.
I met this dude at a social event who was obsessed with Bouchard. I just blinked, nodded, and took my leave. I see you. And I totally believe those allegations. Anyone who pays even a little bit of attention would too. Sidenote, whatever happened to Kader Nouni? Is that dude still around?
I’m sure Guttmacher has crunched those numbers regarding clinic access. And for those folks who do have problems with access, it’s a pretty constructive abortion ban. The latest attempts to de-fund organizations that provide health services outside of abortion access pose a whole host of other problems that affect…
The right has been picking away at Roe for decades to the extent that you almost don’t need to overturn it. But it’s an immediate concern for sure as is what’s happening now in the states affecting reproductive freedom (along with racial justice, LGBTQ rights, voting, etc. that folks are rightly concerned for).
In my world, this includes people who brazenly try to sneak into my apartment building/work building behind me (not so much the lobby, but the elevators where you also need a key). I don’t like anyone doing that, but people used to expressing a healthy amount of entitlement get the huffiest when treated as the…
That Francoise Abanda business is wild. What a waste of energy defending Bouchard, even for the racism deniers. Talk about a colossal over-hyped disappointment.
All this did was make me want watch so I can satisfy my (alleged morbid?) curiosity. Consider it moved up in the queue.
Committing to a sunscreen regimen. And not one of those discussions with that finger-wagging tone, but actual helpful tips that address adopting a new routine: having to shower/scrub your face at night to rinse it off, impact on skincare and makeup, dealing with the smell, finding something that works for darker skin,…
It was an especially painful [sic] burn. These folks...
What do any of us expect Democrats to do?
Garland.
On 1, Dems can use all their tools to create a good record, including calling out all the trashing of constitutional norms to get to this point. And the hypocrisy from Republicans about their own bad behavior is unbelievable.
3 - Say nothing (and get to work galvanizing colleagues to defend regular order).
The best they can do is create a solid record for future battles and for the lower courts, which is where the more immediate dangers are. And use it strategically to get the left to finally understand and care about the courts as a voting issue.
