I will always find a use for that butter!

I don’t even think it’s always about adulting, it’s about lifestyle too. Lists are more complicated when you’re shopping in conjunction with the farmers market. And I often don’t plan when I go to the store—I go when I have time. I think that’s why lists are more of a backup for me. I make one, but it’s always

I’m a fan of grocery lists, but honestly, I don’t actually need one to shop. It’s more of a backup resource. Most of what I make doesn’t require a ton of planning and/or are things I’ve been making for years. And if I’m using a special recipe for something, I’ll generally just bring that recipe with me.

I like this idea, but for my pantry and spice collection. It’s not the stuff on my list that I have trouble remembering, it’s the staples that I don’t buy at every visit. It’s why I have like 3 bags of cornmeal but am constantly running low on flour or seasonings. The only thing in my fridge I forget is how much

I’m guessing they figured Seth Meyers had enough to say for everyone.

The weakest part of Jonathan Franzen’s argument is that it comes from Jonathan Franzen. He sounds like such an asshole all the time. The bird community needs a better bully pulpit.

Nice reference!

Thanks for this. Not that everything else that we’ve been fighting against with this administration isn’t important, but we’re talking lifetime appointments here and the unprecedented politicization of what should be an independent branch of government. The Supreme Court only hears a small number of important cases,

She is wonderful, though! I didn’t like the lead, which is a shame because it’s an otherwise interesting show with some fun characters.

You don’t say! I only know about Freeform because I don’t have cable and it came with the AppleTV I swindled out of my friend. There are seriously a bunch of random shows on it. Like for a while it showed Dawson’s Creek and some weird show called Stitchers with Sally Richardson Whitfield that I waded through for a

That makes it an even better example. A lot of people don’t have a good idea of the many ways that state AGs and secretaries of state shape their rights and protections. This is a great, high profile example of that given the bipartisan show of force from those offices.

many states have refused to provide the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity with basic information relevant to its inquiry

So much truth here.

I mean, I’m not gonna watch it, but I can’t hate given some of the trash I do watch. Plus, I’ve seen all the Bring It On movies and I have to accept what that franchise has spawned.

Not that I disagree with you, but I think it’s also really important that we frame such conversations as ones of inquiry rather than justification because they are rooted in some heavy stuff for a lot of folks and often not necessarily linked to predatory behavior. And I think it’s also part of a larger conversation

The bail reform move is a step in the right direction for sure, especially if they’re going to do it right and get a good infrastructure in place.

I keep my bedroom door mostly closed to cut down on draftiness and keep the heat in (which is tough with my cats running in and out).

This was my plan. In the summer, I just sleep with a sheet and that keeps me cool enough to be comfortable.
