This is essentially how i play NCAA 14 (still) and get through 20+ years of a dynasty. Once i’m up 14 or more points I simulate offense until I have the ball in a one score game, and always sim defense unless it’s a late 4th quarter drive for the opponent to tie/win.

He blocked me years ago after I asked how he was going to pay the taxpayers back and pointing out how he’s the one bankrupting the nation stealing from taxpayers.

After growing up in Veterans Stadium, i’m trying to figure out why either stadium is getting torn down. I still think Turner Field was a lot nicer than Nationals Park or Citi Field. I get the problems with the Dome but it’s still far from “unbearable” and I thought the sight lines were excellent.

you are really going off of FIFA rankings? You know we were ranked 4th in the world going into the 2006 world cup. That means we got to the semi-finals, right?

but did you see the bench? Once Jozy got hurt and Bobby Wood got suspended we had no other options up front...Pulisic hasn’t proven that he can play a full 90 mins here or in Germany; 17 year olds usually cant.

No i’m not putting Lebron ahead of Jordan yet, but i’m not acting like Lebron can go win 3 more rings...he’s only 31. He has 6-9 seasons left.

I enjoy the rule because it’s totally different than the American norms I grew up with (hated soccer until college really). Doesn’t help that you’re talking to a Chelsea fan who preyed on away goals in 2012 and played boring footy...but I think the away goals rule is better than anything else.

the 90-120th minutes of soccer games is worse than preseason NBA. Everyone’s tired and just walking around waiting for a penalty shootout which is even more horseshit.

agree that away goals isn’t perfect...but do you really want 20-30% of two-leg games ending in a penalty shootout? Because that’s what your asking for.

So people spend thousands of dollars on tickets when the only thing that winning those 82 games does is gives you one more playoff game at home? Atleast ncaa football has done a good job making sure games matter

lol Golden State will go 73-9 and might not win shit.

couldn’t agree more. If the senior team was winning consistently and we all loved Jurgen, the U23 tourney wouldn’t matter

fair. but does anyone care that in 2012 that Spain finished 4th in a group of Japan, Hondarus and Morocco (yes, they couldn’t get past Morocco). Also Sengal beat Uruguay 2-0.

if you are honestly afraid of losing a player from the USMNT to Croatia, well US Soccer has big problems. This isn’t Julian Green choosing between Germany and USA....it’s like Aron Jo choosing between USA and Iceland.

it’s fairly accepted that Brazil/Argentina/Colombia will be sending their best players to Copa America. European nations send their players to Euro not the World Cup.

Calm down. I think Nigeria won the olympic gold medal in Atlanta. Mexico’s win in 2012 means so much to the world.

fairly sure it’s:

agreed it was horrendous both ways. Nit-pick holdings were called while the egregious ones (I remember someone sitting on Vinny Curry on Tyrod’s nice 3rd down and long run for a first).

More than a 7 team torney that no one pays attention too. Something like the MLS winner gets into the last round of the playoff stage, 2nd place gets in early in the playoff stage, winner of Brazil gets into the group stage, etc. Not just the winners of each continent only.

Diego Costa or John Terry?
