Okay, so he’s about as serious a candidate as the “The Rent is Too Damn High” guy in New York several years back.

Yes, if you cash out, you can pay rent with your stock.

Yeah, but if you’re there for years, you have the option to cash out at least a significant part and diversify long before the company goes bust.

Which is kind of a problem, isn’t it?

I know, I know- white/Indian middle class privilege and all that. But, fuck, I just have to say it...

You cannot really fault Koeppel or Shannon for moving to Highland Park, although let’s be honest- the amount of interest in the city shooting from the initiatives they’ve begun will ultimately result in significant gentrification- bars with fake bullet holes, young women with metal Scooby Doo lunch boxes, ostrich

Okay, so just to be clear, what specific concrete policy changes that would still allow the Dems to be competitive in this country should Democratic candidates make that would be satisfying for the Black women who would are leaving the party?

A kind of interesting back story to Liliane Bettencourt is that while her father collaborated with the Nazis, her daughter married the grandson of a rabbi killed in Auschwitz and converted to Judaism.

There’s a difference between not being street smart, and being mentally ill.

Except, somewhere around 150 million Latinos aren’t just light skinned, but actually white- not one iota of indigenous blood.

I have no problem with that. Mass shootings are very common here in the US. It’s a fact.

I would, yes. I’d also be bothered if a company fired a person for conservative views on those issues.

If you had a mass shooting in Australia, for example, and someone said, “mass shootings are common in the United States, the Australia has had very few,” it would make sense and add context to the crime.

No more than a woman lying about her age.

Racist and white supremacist are often not the same.

:a person who believes that the white race is inherently superior to other races and that white people should have control over people of other races

She didn’t call out racism; she called Trump a white supremacist. Trump is an immoral person, an opportunist, a buffoon, and many other things. He even emboldens white supremacists, neo Nazis, the KKK.

I agree. While Trump certainly emboldens white supremacists and Nazis, there’s no evidence that he’s an actual white supremacist or Nazi (Richard Spencer and other white supremacists have said the same).

Sure, you have the right to express your own opinions, and the bank- which has a moral obligation to show good faith to all minority groups- has the right to fire you.
