I’m not really sure I get the reactions here. Yes, it’s probably not the wisest move on the part of the Turks, warnings or not, but they have made it abundantly clear that they will aggressively defend their airspace in the past, so they’re consistent, at least.

NATO wouldn’t enact Article 5, Turkey would. It doesn’t support offensive actions, but this looks a lot more like defensive action to me.

All true, and if the first time this had occured I believe Turkey would have done as you suggest. However, this isn’t the 1st time, it’s a pattern of Russia thumbing it’s nose at Turkey and NATO in general and intentionally provoking NATO countries.

That game was brutal to watch. As a UM fan I had to subconsciously want OSU to win but I could hardly do that. Seeing this team melt down like this after that loss is fun to watch.
