Honestly it’s a half decent action movie with some great set pieces but other than that it’s a complete mess and mainly serves as an example of style over substance.

My problem is the “clear character arc” which Cameron handles “perfectly” is pretty frickin boring. The whole film is telegraphed in the first ten minutes, and every bit of foreshadowing APPEARS IN CAPITAL LETTERS.
