Keaton pulled off some magic there with his Bruce Wayne. i mean if today, they made a Batman movie where Bruce Wayne was a nervous and quirky weirdo like Keaton’s version, even if it was someone like Daniel Day Lewis selling the fuck out of it, people would roast the decision as a betrayal of the character.

say what you say, but that specific iteration of Batman is still relevant 56 years later. opinions aside from what Batman should be, there is some magic going on there that wouldn’t have been captured had they not tried.
