... could you write the sequel for us? :)

thanks, that makes more sense. i must have missed a lot of this movie (i’ll admit, it was difficult to keep my attention if they weren’t fighting. i really didn’t care about Cole’s backstory).

characters not asking questions is one thing... but

btw, you could probably buy 100 pounds of some decent chocolate chip cookies for $500.

we got Columbo over here...

i remember the summer that Pokemon Go came out was same summer i went to Japan. i had this idea in my head that i would train up a Pokemon and leave it in Japan. i spent the whole trip scouting out a good location, something kind of off a beaten path, beat the gym, and left my top Vaporeon there. he was back like an

smell-training has got me wondering if you could also train yourself to experience synesthesia. if you train yourself to associate certain colors with certain smells, perhaps over time you’ll involuntarily start developing new colors for new smells.

Now playing

Paparazzo (from a distance): Excuse me sir, you look like you need some help, do you need a hand?

i remember seeing paintings like this, and thinking it was so removed from my reality because stuff like this wouldn’t happen in modern times.

this was the most unrealistic part of the whole series for me. we know that super soldiers are vulnerable to bullets. any cop in the real world would have shot them no problem.

it’s the costume. the Senators can ignore Sam, but not Captain America.

if the Flag Smashers wanted to return to a post-Thanos-Snap World, a pandemic would be the way.

next they’ll only make a Sam Wilson figure in plain clothes, and you gotta acquire the suit, wings, and shield separately to become Captain America.

that’s the suit i think of when i think of Iron Man Vs the Mandarin. are we sure thats “AI Tony” and not Shang-Chi?

they better not be planning a trilogy where the tournament doesn’t even happen until the third. because f that.

in a way MK21 is very much the 2021 version of MK95. on paper they’re the same “kind of movie”: starring a relatively unknown cast, known but not a-list supporting cast, new director, tempered expectations in story-telling, etc. even MK21 nostalgia-factor is comparable to MK95's novelty-factor.

i love bad movies too, but this one falls victim to the not making any sense. if Raiden can just do what he does to set up the final battle, then a lot of the movie could have been avoided.

the first time they went “do an uppercut!” i laughed and thought it was good. the second time they went “do an uppercut!” i felt that they had overstayed their welcome. the action wasn’t particularly good imo. it felt pretty standard, just more gory. the best parts of this movie were in the trailer.

this movie was felt like Power Rangers. as if there was some cooler Japanese movie starring Hiroyuki Sanada and Joe Taslim, and they took the fight scenes from that, and made another story about some people adults with attitude to fit around it.

I’m expecting one Bond villain skit, and some skits with cast members doing impressions of Bezos, Zuckerberg, and Cook Apple.
