i love how he lands the plane in a packed baseball stadium and everyone is cheering. there’s like random dudes high fiving each other. that’s the kind of stuff what Synderverse Superman is sorely missing. like, everyone (incl. the audience) should be happy that he saved those people.
this scene and the part when he pulls the ship out of the water. i dont really remember anything else in Superman Returns, but those two scenes nailed it. perfect use of the Superman theme.
yup
uh... i guess... if you don’t care about the acting. like, did they just let anything go in the 90s?
i was under the impression that Steve’s plan all along was to not come back, and the only person he told was Bucky. hence he has a farewell moment with him before leaving, and when he comes back as an old man, Bucky tells Sam to go talk to him.

trying to reach Harrison Ford levels of i’m so cool i dont even care about Star Wars.
in his next original movie, cartel members kidnap Liam Neeson’s daughter and hold her hostage aboard the International Space Station. police are unable to help as the ISS is out of their jurisdiction. now it’s up to Liam Neeson alone to build a rocket and save his daughter. Blast Off, coming 2022.
What’s extreme, a meme, and part of the gamer scene?
you could just get two cases. one with a permanent pop socket and one without. probably a cheaper way to do exactly what you’re looking for, and you could do it right now.
i recently rewatched Speed Racer and came to the conclusion that it was just too ahead of it’s time. if they redid it right now in the exact same way (but upgraded CGI), it would probably do a lot better. it came out at a time when people were into realistic grimdark takes on their live action adaptations, and they…
Morpheus! What can we expect at this orgy?!
i like how James Wan puts elements of what he’s learned from his past movies into his next movies. i remember an interview where he called out this scene as going “full Fast and Furious” or something along those lines.
no love for the Cyclops’ original Oakley Juliets?
he’s originally a stage actor. perhaps he’s done with hollywood and wouldn’t mind just going back to that. they’re different circles, right?
“Accountability > Entertainment.”
i thought they were setting up Flash and Cyborg to be the two buddies on the team (“the accidents”). makes sense that he could have had a substantial part in the Flash movie. but they could easily replace those moments with Bruce Wayne i guess.
my point is the requirement fulfilled by masks is pretty straightforward. if we only relied on “health” companies to make masks, would there even be enough to go around? would it be like toilet paper was back in the spring? maybe they could have invoked the DPA, but we’d have to sacrifice production of other “health”…
