Blade could have a director already working on it, and they just haven’t announced it yet for whatever reason.

i would expect FF to have a big summer blockbuster spot in May or July. an October release makes more sense for something like... Blade.

part of my brain thinks this thing is unnecessary overkill. then another part tucks that first part away into a neat little corner of my brain with a nice label, and buys ones of these.

Your ex-lover that you slept with once and knew for a total of two week? Maybe she just falls in love fast.

i wished for this movie to be good. and for a brief moment, it was well written, well acted, and had great CGI. but then, out of the kindness of my heart and for the love of the world, i renounced my wish and the movie is what it is. you’re welcome.

but surely the writers could’ve thought of something other than Diana being ok with letting a friend die.

i totally agree with your standpoint that there is definitely more to this story that we need to be shown. and i also agree they took some major missteps. TBH, i started forgiving the ST more after the recent the Mandalorian finale when they confirmed that they’re not afraid to use Young Luke. more of his stories are

i think they’re saving the neck snap for Darla to do in Shazam 2.

I don’t see the necessity of having to lessen the heroism of the POV character from the OT (Luke) to amplify that of the POV character for the new one (Rey), *especially* when Rose says that winning is about saving what you love, not destroying what you hate.

they wiped out millions of potential stories on planets other than outer rim worlds like Tattooine for a single money shot

i had always known Cheetah to be Wonder Woman’s arch-nemesis, but i never knew that they started out as best friends. typical women, amiright?

yeah i assume it’s the default move in the DCEU. we needed more neck snapping in Shazam!

seeing it in the classic colors makes it look like a wannabe classic suit. like if Spider-man created some robot Spider-droids to support him, they’d look like this.

i read this as Trashmaster, who for a supervillian, gets bested quite easily.

since the action figure comes with multiple heads, can you swap Freddie Mercury’s head with another figure altogether? like, this one?

i feel like the electrocution in the water was really dumb, and seemed like a hasty rewrite. perhaps she originally snaps her neck?

at one point it just turns into the Inception score.

considering that Mark Hamill is an accomplished voice actor, i wouldn’t be surprised if there was talks of an eventual animated movie or show (like a more mature Clone Wars) about Luke’s downfall. if Disney really wants to swing for the fences, in a couple of years this could work as the industry’s first attempt at a

given the time period in which the Mandalorian takes place, and the stakes of finding a rare force user, i’d criticize them for not crossing paths with Luke Skywalker at some point.

I feel like the people who thought TLJ and the Sequels were great are not watching what Star Wars was meant to be. It’s a hero’s journey, not a hero’s downfall. As you said, the OT was about hope and optimism, not cynicism and depression.
