Yeah, having her take out the #2 seed immediately basically wrecks that side of the draw right out of the gate. If I were Halep, I’d be pissed to get that draw.

What a shitty draw for Halep. It’s not the #2 seed’s fault she was doping. Granted she probably would have lost eventually to Sharapova (as evidenced by the match) but still a shitty first round.

I’m with you here. This win shows she would have breezed through qualifiers, anyway, so why not stick with the rules and avoid pissing off basically the whole tour?
