That Steve Earle album is in the running for my favorite of his. So fantastic. If you can, there is a radio program/podcast called Sound Opinions that just had him on. He's such a great storyteller.

My 8 years old loves Warren, and I'm hoping that Excitable Boy hasn't damaged his psyche in any way.

Do I remember that you had a Neil two weeks ago also? He is one of my favorites, and I'm ashamed I haven't listened to his new one yet.

I hope this treatment is helping. As uncomfortable as it is, there is something to be said for quietly sitting (laying?) and doing nothing but absorbing this music.

It's been a crazy week, so my choices have reflected that

This is good info; I've only ever had Cuervo, I think. I'm assuming it has something to do with aging?

Some of them don't appear to know which "finger" they should be using, unless they think Nixon is #1!

Made a faux-Lyonnaise, with lardons, perfectly poached eggs, croutons on red leaf lettuce with home made mustard vinaigrette. God I love poached eggs. The yolk gets so creamy, then mixes with the vinaigrette.

I typically don't drink tequila, because it gives me a stomachache, but I was persuaded to try a cocktail with El Jimador, Creme de Cassis, lime juice and ginger beer. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it, AND it didn't give me a stomachache, leading me to believe that it's possibly the cheap tequila

On that zipper, if you like the bag, try taking it to a cleaners with an alterations dept. They may be able to replace or fix it for you.

I'm really really happy for you! Your strength is definitely inspiring!

What these Nazi assholes don't understand is that I can identify as liberal, but not agree with those liberals who choose violence as a solution. Because their only solution is violence.

That was the first of I think two movies I ever walked out of. And I love musicals. Such a terrible, terrible movie.

You could not get away from You Light Up My Life. Well, I guess all of these, but for some reason I remember that one being on the radio constantly.

I never even went to prom. I had a college boyfriend in high school, which meant I was much too cool to go. I don't regret it.

WHAT???? How did I not know this?? When do they have it?

I have never been to Mississippi. My step mother was from East Tennessee, and once when I was going to New Orleans, she told me "just make sure you avoid MS". She wouldn't tell me why, though.

I don't really drink them, usually just to grab a fountain soda when I'm out and about. Plus I work in Lake County so I can just buy it here. It just seems like an egregious tax that affects the people least able to absorb it.

That fucking guy; this state is a shitshow. Not to mention I also live in Cook County, where they just instituted a sweetened beverage tax to the tune of a couple of bucks a case, and also the city of Chicago, which is also a mess. I have got to move.

I have no idea about SMILF, but if I had to guess it would be Single Mother, etc…
