I’m surprised as I haven’t seen general civil unrest or any indication that it is widespread or likely to impact me (or the majority of people) personally.

I attended classes in Front Sight and they taught that life is really going to be ugly (even if the bad guy is trying to kill you).

For those that are interested, Front Sight has a fantastic 5 day class that is a ton of fun. It starts with a 4 day Defensive Handgun class that covers range and classroom training. The 5th day covers a concealed carry class that get a permit in 30+ states.

As a reminder gun crime is PLUNGING even though millions upon millions of firearms have been purchased over the past several years. It seems that guns don’t cause crime.

Just a couple of suggestions.

Why would they take your gun? If you are carrying concealed, the bad guys wouldn’t even know you had it unless you needed to use it.

Open carry is stupid. Carrying concealed is a MUCH better choice.

If it is concealed, he won’t know you have it unless you need to use it. Proper training also tells you how to do so.

That isn’t the worst thing that can happen.

If you are carrying concealed on your body, they won’t even know that you have it. Others do it all of the time.

If that is all they want, you will be fine.
