Miss the days when the writers actually wrote and thought about stuff. 90% of the site is now quotes and copy and paste dribble...Original thinking is hard at times, but worth the effort. Trying to rile up the ‘masses’ is a whole other thing altogether.

I won’t blame Tesla for this, just like I won’t blame any individual for taking a SALT deduction. This is the tax code and the only ones to blame for it are the politicians we voted into office

If they don’t go when asked nicely - absolutely.

I once had a flight attendant literally steal $20 from me. I gave him a $20 for a drink, he never brought the drink and denied I gave him the money.

NGL....if we could just make masks mandatory for all air travel/airports forever regardless of a pandemic or not, id be in favor. People are nasty AF and if it saves X number of people from getting a random travel bug then hooray.

It should be this way anyway.

You are dangerously, perhaps wilfully, incorrect.

Except it still sucks to get sick. Sure- the word is that Omicron is “Milder” but I know people who got it and were bedridden for a week. That sounds pretty shitty and can be easily avoided if people simply masked up.

Putting these people on a no-fly list wouldn’t be denying them transportation. They could still drive, take a bus, or take a train to distant destinations.

This is the society you get when you treat firearm ownership as an inalienable right, rather than a privilege with responsibilities.

All this hate and yet everyone of you will be grabbing your phone to take a picture if you ever see one in the wild.

To play devils advocate for a bit, a lot of the local cops out my way have police vehicles that are very hard to spot. Lights behind the grill and windshield, reflectors that are the same black as the paint. Its like they're trying to be sneaky

They would need it for a true FSD (which they are not close to). At least in Cali, you are legally supposed to slow down (and move over a lane if you can) for emergency vehicles on the side of the road.

This is all a wild overreaction to 11 collusions with emergency vehicles over 4 years. In reality, emergency vehicles drive and park unsafely quite often, since they’re doing unusual things in order to respond to emergencies, and as a result are about 5x more likely to be in accidents, and cause deaths, than normal

The third sentence in the article states that this wasn’t in the release notes.

Generally, releasing new functionality without telling anyone about it is fair to call “sneaky”, no?

Jesus. You all can’t just report something, can you? It’s an improvement that’s been discussed as a goal. Why does tha reticle have to go with “sneaky” just to throw shade?

So... are these just GM pickups with a slight rebody and electric bits replacing the gas bits?

Now playing

Jalopnik, can we please get an expose on Lit Motors as well?

“I left there confused. I left there angry,” Lara said in an interview with The Washington Post. “And I could not believe that I had just been literally robbed on the side of the road by people with badges and guns.”
