Breaking News: GM to Release Chevy Voltron to Compete With Prius Prime. Peter Cullen Cries but Finds New Work. More at 6pm!

No, no, no. still a regular impreza with some stick on look nice bits. All the innards will be identical to a regular impreza.

The current Impreza sport is a top trim level of the base Impreza. In the hatchback, it’s the one that comes with integrated roof rails.

Kinda weird why these official news only show up in Msia and not in the US/UK lol. Anyway, both Proton and Lotus are pretty much close to being broke. These are their (known) last-ditch effort:

They should talk to vw, I am sure they have a creative solution for this problem!

Exactly even if its electric you dont buy a 75k luxury sedan if you car about the environment. More mass needs more energy. A crx would probably be better fit the environment.

If we’re going for anecdotal evidence, a friend of mine sold his M5 and got a Tesla as a daily, and drives it from the Santa Barbara area to Los Angeles frequently. So his carbon footprint dropped substantially by making the change.

Except now everyone and there sister has a Model S

I think it’s about 50/50 from my observations on the Tesla forums. But the point here is that if someone is choosing between a 550i and a Model S, then you want to give them some incentive to buy the eco-friendly one. If they’re buying it for ecological reasons anyway, then it doesn’t matter so much because it’s

I think because the regulators didn’t envision the Tesla approach. They assumed automakers would try to make them as cheap as possible, aka the Leaf. So this wasn’t supposed to be a problem.

Because trickle down/trickle up economic bullshit, and dumbfucks like the one who will equate it to their interpretation of class warfare.

People with the money to buy these cars don’t likely look at the rebate as a government subsidy, they probably just factor it in as the MSRP, and the ones that do see it for what it is feel entitled to it for “doing my part to save the planet”

Because they are trying to persuade you to buy an electric car duh. Maybe some Tesla owners would be scat pack owners otherwise. Just imagine those vanity plates. Yuk!

it’s considerably more fun to drive then the other 7 passengers. The current one is nimble, easy to park etc. Just gets horrible gas milage.

yeah... it’s a shame people buy so much into the idea that vans are uncool. They are, but that doesn’t change whether they are lifted by 4 inches or not.

Hmmm, signature cx-9 or base Volvo XC90?

I don’t know how this compares in base spec to other three-row crossovers, but that $31K base price sounds a bit steep.

Just wait for when it’s been on the market for 5 years... it won’t be “NEXT” then.

I guarantee nobody would cross shop a Camaro and an Avista.

I don’t play Golf, so I had forgotten Buick existed.

GM needs to take their version of Mercury out back behind the shed like Ford did.
