I’ve always wondered if these could be daily driven. Because I would most definitely commute in one. When they first came out I thought they had some exotic ass price tag. I couldn’t believe how cheap they were when I found out the pricing.

No I didn’t say it didn’t interest me I’m just saying that it was ultimately meh because it was underpowered. Plus with the engine, it was more Subaru than anything.
I hope they go it alone this time. Can’t get excited about something that’s essentially badge engineered like the GT86 and Supra are. They have the engineering know how and the man power. Take some people off the development teams for vanilla ass crossovers and give us something special.
I agree with everything you just said simply because most of it is what they don’t want us to talk or know about. Especially this: Illegal immigration, something embraced and encouraged by the Democratic Party, hurts the black community more than any other group. Every labor/poverty/economic/health study confirms this.
I watched the first episode with a friend. And it was like watching a car accident. You wanna look away but you cant. Its dumb as hell and a lot of it seems fake or staged in a typical “reality” show way. I dont wanna watch it but I do.
The plateauing of the market could be it. But at at the same time I think if that were the case we’d see higher sales numbers in models other than the Model 3. Everyone else is selling a few hundred to a couple thousand units. As to the gradual build out of chargers across the country I’d say that’s good on the…
I love it. Its handsome, rugged and technical looking at the same time. It shows that GMC’s designers know what they are doing and should give their Chevy brethren some pointers. Love how the AT4 has a different interior than the Denali.
Right sales are up like you mentioned. But looking at the broader view is that Tesla is pretty much the entirety of the market. That’s the problem. A single model has almost the entire market share. It cant just be Tesla bolstering the entire market and then we sit back and look at it like EV sales are on fire when…
Its because for some reason no one can design an electric car that isn’t a small compact hatch. I don’t get why. But that limits buyers. It seems that outside of Tesla, the only fully electric models are niche vehicles or vehicles that for the most part would only be appealing to a certain type of buyer. Look at the…
Yea but reports have said that EV sales have stalled in both the US and China. Everyone thats wanted one has bought one. Now its gotten to the point of “now what?”
Thats my point. That’s the problem. Tesla promised a mass market Model 3 in the $30s. But you can’t find it because they still consider themselves as premium and that the buyer they attract. For them to grow the market they need to start actually trying to get mass market buyers. The market has stopped growing because…
Exactly. But the Tesla fan boys and people thinking Musk is some kind of god has kept people from this realization. The sales numbers speak for themselves. Collectively, every other EV or plug in on the market isn’t even amounting to the totals for sales of the Model 3. Total sales for the Model 3 from what I saw…
Exactly this. Tesla is essentially the EV market. Something has to change for them to reach more customers. And them pretty much riding the ev’s for the well off wave isnt helping things. Its why no one can actually find a $30k Model 3 anywhere.
You’re exactly right. It can no longer be about us, even though Black people have nearly been the sole people in this country fighting for and trying to advance civil rights. Like I mentioned, we continue to be the dummies, calling for and speaking of unity and inclusion for everyone else while no one fights for us.…
NAACP is speaking for both Black & Brown communities now? Showing again that we constantly fight for others while we fight for ourselves.
I almost forgot the Canyon existed. I’d rather have a Sierra though.
Interesting. But I have to question who something like this would be for. Anyone that wants something like this already either has a Jeep or are current Hummer owners that held on to their vehicles. And the flip side of this is that for possible owners, still too early EV wise for something like an off road ev to…
Like I keep saying, it was an over reaction and it still is as an industry whole. They are alienating a lot of buyers who are going to head over to the Koreans and Japanese, who still have a lineup that offers something for everyone.
Yea me either. Not Vans per se but more equipment and technology. Chrysler’s Stow N’ Go was a pretty big van game changer.
I honestly don’t know why they haven’t thrown in the towel. I mean when you’re even behind in sales of a truck that’s equally long in the tooth (Tundra) there’s a problem. And they aren’t cheap and Nissan doesn’t have a bunch of cash on the hood to move them either.
