Not too disappointing. At least it will come with more power and not just be cosmetic and suspension upgrades. But it still shows, yet again how weak the Sonata’s engine offerings have been. But with the work they have done on the Stinger,G70 and Veloster N, this thing should actually be a drivers family sedan compared

Yea I’m aware. I didn’t say a specific country or region did I? I was speaking generally. Ford is a global company. Just making a point that public engagement on social media is important and is often a good gauge of interest. not saying its a main part, but its important. If it wasn’t they wouldn’t be on the platform

I’m making a point that electrification and crossovers are less a crazy and shift and more of a creation of their own doing. Not saying they are related.

The government is a joke. The first article you mentioned of the gas powered cars ban here created an uproar here. Governor Brown tried to endorses it before he left and he failed. It would have to take something huge for them to be able to do something like that here. The good and bad thing here in California is that

I hope this is the case and its just we are all thinking that there is some coming doomsday for the industry.

I don’t think they will find refuge because of the loss of manufacturing jobs in this country overall. They’ll just be added to the other millions of unemployed or underemployed people in this country. Hopefully they have retirement or something that can get them by.

I wouldn’t be surprised.

GM’s problem is that they make something good but no one knows about it and then it dies a slow lonely death. Look at the Volt. Probably one of the most advanced vehicles ever made by an American company. And no one paid attention to it. Same thing goes for the Bolt.

Neutral: I think it will have effects both ways, with manufacturing jobs taking the brunt of it. It’ll eliminate those jobs sadly because the aforementioned less moving parts etc, while creating more jobs at the same time in engineering, programming etc. More tech focused jobs.

Twitter has over 139 million active daily users. Someone that knows and pays attention to their analytics can drive change and get noticed. Hell they got Wendy’s to bring spicy chicken nuggets back just off retweets. And from the looks of Twitter, people hate the Mach E. Based solely on them calling it a Mustang was

And they lost money way? Because there wasn’t proper investment in them. They just threw up their hands and said no ones buying em lets give up. Had they actually made them competitive (the Cruze in its current form was probably the best small car GM has ever made) then none of that would have been a problem.

Have you not seen the news lately of how both Ford and GM got hit sales wise because they got rid of small cars? Its a no brainier. The market has too many crossovers. Ford, and to a lesser extent GM, got rid of sedans and small cars ENTIRELY. The smallest thing you can get at Ford starting next year is the Ecosport.

This will never be a good barometer of whether something is a success or failure.

Its nice to be optimistic because electric is the new hotness or whatever. But lets be honest, this is Ford we are talking about. The same Ford that’s hurting sales wise right now because they assumed “Everyone wants a higher driving position! So lets stop making cars!”. The same Ford that screwed customers over on an

Its weird this article came up because my mom has been mulling over selling Frito Pie at local Car washes for months now. But LA County laws with stuff like this are more lax than they are here inland so hopefully she can start doing it soon.

I’m good. Ill stick with Popeye’s and Chick Fil A. Mcdonald’s always tries new menu items that never stay around for long. They look edible on the internet, and then their locations find a way to mess it up and ruin it by having shit service and workers that don’t really care. The current donut sticks come to mind.

Looks like an Audi kinda. It’s still rolling sex though.

Yea there is the Destination Chargers, which are at places like Target, and then there are the Superchargers. But even then its the same problem. A lot of areas have neither Destination or Supercharger. There’s a whole stretch of LA, from San Pedro all the way up to South Central that has neither. Why? Because these

That’s my point. It shouldn’t work like that. You don’t see just gas stations that carry premium fuel for luxury vehicles in well to do areas, so why should EVs be like that?

Not low income per se. But not Model X buyers you know?  I see a lot of Model 3s in areas I know have median incomes below 50k but above 35.
