Yes in the grand scheme of things it is. Plus with our housing problems here, rent isn’t really a good indicator of low income. $1500/month for a place is cheap for LA county.

My problem with Tesla’s super chargers is less that there aren’t enough (though that is a problem) but that they only seem to be in high income/well off areas. For instance locally you won’t find a supercharger anywhere in say Compton or Huntington Park. But you will find them in nearby Torrance, Lakewood and the more

Exactly all this. EVs at times come across as more of a hassle than they should be when you take all this into account.

Right. Outside of range anxiety the fact that you have to arrange your day or outing around stopping to charge the car is a problem too. Charging times either need to get faster or automakers need to develop skateboard platforms where whole battery’s can be swapped out.

Things have changed, though. With the build-up of DC fast-charging infrastructure from Ionity in Europe, Electrify America in the U.S., and others, “there’s really no need to be afraid,” Freimann added.

Yea this is true. A group of assassins trying to kill the Bat and it turns out it was the Joker behind it the whole time? It could’ve been the plot of a movie. But I just think that it wouldn’t have felt so rushed if the studios that did Asylum and Knight did it. Like I could literally feel that the game was just a

Not surprised. Anyone can look at this thing and see that its trying to be a mini Wrangler.
Also not surprised at FCA suing and seeking a stop sale. Remember they did the same thing with Hummer over the 7 slot grille? (execpt GM won). They just need to sell their own sub Renegade offroader and be done with it.

Origins was ok. Something you play when you realize you haven’t touched it in years. It came across as rushed though.

So you want it to be even more of a niche vehicle than it already is?

When it comes to styling, the RS6 is anything but subtle

They also aren’t mentioning that it was shuttered because no one wanted to sign up. Having subscriptions isn’t going to get butts in seats of vehicles. Plus, there is still the unanswered question of how you take a depreciating asset like a vehicle and have a revenue model that makes sense for both the company and the

Cadillacs V12 powered Escalade V. That would’ve been something.

It’ll pay off for them. Maybe. They already have 4-5 crossovers in their lineup. They don’t need more. One can only look to the loss of market share both GM and Ford have suffered recently for cutting sedans and small cars. They’d be a fool to cut out sedans and build more crossovers when the ones they have already

“Honestly, this isn’t very newsworthy.”

You ask some good questions, especially will truck buyers go for it. But I think it’ll be a hit simply because its Tesla. And it’ll turn some people that weren’t truck buyers into truck buyers simply because its a Tesla. A lot of people don’t realize how heavily many people drink from Elon Musk’s teat. They are treated

An abomination. If this thing is competing/ in the same size class as the Venue I drove today, it’s going to be tiny and underpowered.

We have them for service here in Southern California for TV internet and Phone. They have cell service now too. Their service is fantastic simply because there are no home data caps on their internet. We pay $70/month for 200 mps and its never failed us.

My mom was so excited that she called me about it while I was at work. I thought something was wrong.

It looks weird with the top up. Better with the top down. But other than that the LC is weird.

For me those inconveniences aren’t perceived, they are realities. Things like charging not being convenient, not enough range etc all insure I wont ever buy an EV for the foreseeable future. I simply drive way too much for an EV to be viable for everyday life. And if I got one as a second car I would barley touch it.
