First of all kudos to you for seeing past someone's skin and finding love. You have no idea how courageous it makes you. I know many many people who base their mate finding criteria as if they have blinders on. They will meet someone great but cannot be with this person all because they come from another country. I

Could this be a result of the rampant sex industry in Japan?

I dunno if limiting the number of chests would fix this. Don't see why they couldn't just automatically put the heart in your count after a certain period of time.

I honestly don't see myself as a "woman in the games industry." I'm just a gamer who likes to help other gamers.

Impressive. I'm guessing it took two years because they worked on it on and off.

About that last line...isn't the video game industry rooted in passion? At least I think it once was. Are we just going to whittle down gaming to a business that requires no soul? That's a little depressing if you ask me. I think we often invest ourselves into something without being fully aware of what we're doing.

Very informative article. Truly makes me reflect upon the role gaming has on my mental state. I personally have never felt full-blown depression before (although there are times that felt damn close) so I don't know for certain if gaming alleviated or worsened my state or not. I would think that utilizing gaming as a

Been meaning to give this a try but I'm thinking my only choice is PC (don't got an Xbox). But I'm happy that point and click games are getting more love. The genre when done correctly (writing and execution are key apparently) makes for some great games. Personally I prefer more puzzling and exploring over shooting

Well we agree to some extent as well =P I will agree that straight up copying WoW is not going to guarantee you success. However, the problem with NOT following a proven formula is that failure is very high. So the real challenge in my opinion, is to take what made WoW great and to incorporate something new and

Because once I've been told "we don't need women in order to know what female players want from this industry"

Sorry about that, guess I read it the wrong way. I suppose you just have more important things to spend $1000 on. Which is perfectly fine. But consider that gaming itself is not a very cheap hobby (although it can be if you are diligent enough) and yet most of the people here can still justify purchasing consoles

More buying less typing!

Well I hate to say this but gaming shouldn't be on your top priorities especially if you are tight on cash and have more important responsibilities. If you someday have the means then I think $1000 will get you a pretty decent machine. I've just dived into full on PC gaming myself, and I have to say the gaming

Here here. BURN THE WITCH RAWR

Possibly the first FPS? lol

Basically, a Zelda game normally does the trick.

I wouldn't mind playing something similar to what Gameloft has now, only with more variety in mini games, less buggy and a chance to obtain all the main story ponies without shelling out cash. I mean c'mon Rarity is 90 gems which is about $5. Now, I think this game is worth my money but I still feel a little cheated.

And has purpose.

Wouldn't mind seeing/buying a full fledged retail priced game. But dunno how the gameplay would work out.

Overpriced is an understatement. Princess Celestia? C'mon!
