Exactly what I was thinking. His work would totally be at home on a piece of parchment. Lovely strokes and fluidity.

It wasn't always mainstream. It become mainstream for a good reason: because it was and still is a damn good series. I remember first seeing it and being turned off by the "long-ness" of the characters. So glad I beat down my inner hater.

I don't blame them for being careful about patents. I mean you know there are companies that are uber sensitive about it. Yeah, I'm pointing at you Apple. But I'm a bit surprised that the "Slender Man" has a patent to begin with, which means someone had the foresight to see that it might make him/her some money

Are you sure it's not the cellular providers? Because they probably make the most bank behind the scenes.

I will never understand the appeal of playing on the gamepad.

So...only the demo is available at the moment?

One word. Samsung.

It's a little disturbing to me how much sensationalism "internet addiction" is getting in Chinese media. As if this doesn't happen in other countries. Even when gaming is shown in a good light, these reporters just have to zoom in on the negative things, because nothing possibly good could come out of gaming. -_-

u mad bro?

Yeah because the alternative would have been so much better. This is a really sad story in that some guy made money off of mentally disturbing a child. And you know what? I still blame the mother because she couldn't handle the problem on her own but had to throw money at it and involve strangers.

Childhood shattered. gg

So...you want to play games that have "realistic" women? I don't think Lifetime makes games.

When you want a successful MMO, you copy World of Warcraft.

Agree about the article. I rarely have the patience to sit through one so long, but this was gripping somehow. Maybe it's just that I can relate to his situation.

I don't really see the point in having achievements. Is it to extend the gameplay? Motivate those who need a little? Provide incentives? Bragging rights? All of these? I know there are people out there who are die hard achievement-getters and then there are those who couldn't give a rats ass. I'm probably somewhere in

Most reporters (be it for games or general news) will publish what they are assigned to publish. Whatever influences their writing is totally unknown to the readership and that is where the controversy is generated. Any kind of blatant marketing or bias is quickly pointed to because of that simple fact. We as readers

#7...can't remember how many games I've played in which I had to double check my options.

Uh, did we read the same article? "How did you get video games cause cancer" out of that? She happened to like playing games and going on the internet. Either outlet could have taken up a lot of time, but we don't know the details so can only speculate. What is clear to me is that it was her choices that led to her

Fair enough. Though I do hope you at least muse on a solution to hypocrisy when it comes to so called "media piracy". IMO the only real way to not be a hypocrite (and so have a sound moral code) is to either not download at all or download everything.
