I had pretty much the same reaction to the entire thing. I expected some slap or something. But holy shit! She was beaten down hard!

Yeah, I have no idea how that is misdemeanor assault and not felony assault...

I’ve seen way worse misdemeanor assaults. And in California, you can pretty much get your felonybreduced to misdemeanor after 3 years which is infuriating.
