I think cgist is correct. In a Jezebel article about the initial release of these 83 girls, someone commented about girls attacking their families. After McMaster’s talk today, my husband came up with a new drinking game. Drink anytime someone says “wholly appropriate.” First one to catch a “whataboutism” gets to assign 5 drinks.

I totally get what you mean about exercise seeming too easy and obvious. It’s like, if I’m feeling good enough to go for a walk, I’m already feeling pretty good. For me it’s more useful for maintaining a decent mood than for getting me out of a hole.

I so agree about making friends with old people, or at least listening to what they have to say. It’s funny, it’s taken me getting older myself to realize how much wisdom comes with age. Like, if I’ve learned X amount about life at age 43, just think how much an 85 y.o. knows. Experience and time mean so much.
