That's a big move, so it's natural to feel worried! Good for you though :) I know a fair few people who've gone over to Canada, so I'm sure there will be people there in your shoes - could you look for a meetup group or something for when you get over there?
What's your plan when you get there? Toronto is great. I found it relatively easy to meet people (and your accent will help). Transit is good. Lots to do. Good food (except seafood...too far from ocean). I'm sure you'll be happy with your choice.
I did much the same thing in 1999 and went from Toronto to Australia. I stayed 4 years.

Mine was John Goodman on Roseanne. :) It's comforting (though sad) to know other kids did that too.
All I have to say about Marsden is that I served him a bunch of times at my restaurant (he mostly dines alone, though once with Kirsten Dunst) and he is unbelievably nice. He struck up conversations with any employee who even watered his table. He came in one day and I wasn't serving him, but he found me and said…
I completely agree!
I always get that song stuck in my head. I don't know any of the words (or if there are other words) so I'm just like
Thanks! And good luck to you, that's a big move! I'm sure you're going to be awesome!
So that's where they go! A magpie or raven or something once stole my grandmother's clip-on earing. She was wearing it at the time.
BIG FAT QUIZ OF THE YEAR 2012. Which also has Richard Ayoade!
At 28, I have dated a surprising number of divorced men. Who were my age or within 5-6 years of it. Your friends will be back
Tell them an old lady on the internet WISHES she had her twenties back so she could ENJOY being single while it lasted! I wasted so much time and energy on falling in love it's ridiculous!
