Check out The Keepers on Netflix very similar situation but the priest was a principal at an all girls school in Baltimore, unfortunately the priest died before he was brought to justice and the woman who was killed was a nun who was a teacher there that confronted the priest about him molesting girls at the school.…
Nope. Her father *was* a Lutheran (priest? bishop? whatever the title) and he converted. He *is* a full on Catholic priest with a wife. It was allowed via an old church law, and you need special dispensation from the Vatican to make it official, but it can be (and was) done.
It’s specifically bad for people with braces, apparently because it’s harsh on the surface of the enamel, and could therefore cause a difference in the color and texture of the visible enamel compared to the enamel under the brackets. He says it’s okay to use again once the braces are off.
Roger Ebert talked about something similar to this in his review of the film Priest. In it a child tells the main character she’s being molested, and then the molester—her father—comes to see him and proudly announces that he did it, he’s gonna keep doing it and there’s nothing the priest can do about it.
I’m sure his defense will be super sanctimonious and repugnant. “I have repented for my sins and have been washed clean by the blood,” all that kind of shit. Just another criminal being harbored by a corrupt institution.
Cause I can’t murder everyone instead.
Um.. .because as citizens in a democracy, we have the control to elect our leadership...? And have some agency over the trajectory of our society? Unlike Catholics, who are required to follow directions lest they “go to hell”?
And rapists.
What I would like to know is if Tacheny has been trying to get Feit to confess for years. I’m not a lawyer, but I DO watch quite a bit of Law & Order, and one episode in particular covers whether or not it can be considered a confession without an act of contrition. Is Feit really sorry for what he did if he hid it…
well, if the molestation scandal didn’t make you leave Catholicism, then this should do it.
They’re sworn to a lot of things. Clearly they just pick and choose which they stick to
LOL fuck off
I respect people’s beliefs and understand the appeal of the church, but come on, how do you hear story after story of abuse and criminal acts that were covered up by the Catholic Church and not wonder what is wrong within that system. And more importantly, how do you continue to support it by staying as a member.
I am gay as fuck for her in this look.
This is despicable and one more reason why I am no longer a member of the Catholic Church. That and not believing in god.
For anyone who wants bar soap that does not have colorants and/or fragrance added: the easiest thing to do is buy hobbyist soap base and then not add anything with it. Bramble Berry’s are here. This is also cheap. Further, such bases do not contain inert fillers like salt or talc, so they work better and last longer.…
yes, the hair will block most UV, as a physical barrier they are actually better at the job than sunscreen.
Be careful what you wish for. I had a really small container of an eye moisturizer that was nice and I used sparingly because you only need a little for your eyes. One day I go to use it and it’s pretty much completely gone. Ask my husband and he had used the whole thing on his face and hands and wanted to know if I…
nice to see a man’s product diary! (if there were others, i’ve missed them.) more ammunition for me to tell my husband to please for the love of god put on some moisturizer.
