Actually, ABC had publicly said why Last Man Standing was canceled the first time. They didn’t own the rights to the series so they had to spend additional fees for every episode aired.

1. Tim Allen is a major asshole.

It’s because Allen is the voice of the toy - Evans is the voice of the person the toy is based off of. What toy is exactly the same as the real life thing it’s modeled after? ...not to mention it’s a great excuse to refresh a character that’s already starred in 4 movies.

I would say that anyone attempting a Tim Allen imitation clearly has no shame.

The only “shameless Tim Allen impression” I can think of is that grunting schtick he did on Home Improvement. And I’ve seen Toy Story. The first one anyway.

Yeah, the moment I realized that the videos were still playing in the slides I’d clicked past was the moment I realized what was even dumber than these speed bumps.

Pro tip: if on PC (I know, rare these days for many) you can make the browser window just narrow enough to force the article to display the slides as vertical content, instead, which turns the ‘slideshow’ into a plain old list. YMMV depending on your browser, etc., but I’ve found it effective. Sometimes images don’t…

Man I thought regular slideshows were bad, but they’re even worse for videos. Forget to stop the current video before click next slide and later realize there’s video still playing in the background from a few slides black.

They are so perfectly spaced to absolutely catch a vehicle at the worst possible point of their oscillation, it’s impressive.

She’s a spineless joke.  When she was first running for office she promised to fight for term limits.  She never has.  She promised if she was elected she would only serve 2 terms.  That was in the early 1990's.   She does as she is told, like all good Republican women.  

From now on she will only refer to her as Susan Collin, Cheap Date. In conversation, in text, in forums. This is the way.

But was Collins really duped—or did she simply choose not to care about the pregnant people, and particularly poor, pregnant people of color, who would be utterly screwed over by Kavanaugh’s confirmation?

Collins is either the easiest mark in the Senate or just needed the tiniest fig leaf of cover to argue that the Trump SCOTUS nominees weren’t anti-abortion zealots hand-picked by an anti-abortion judicial cult for the sole purpose of rolling back a half-century of judicial precedent including Roe, Casey, etc.

Journalists are failing this country and our democracy. The framing by Rolling Stone is completely irresponsible. Simply parroting what you have been told by officials is not reporting. That is PR.

As a Maine resident, all I can say is, sorry, I did what I could.

I doubt she was duped. She just needed cover for doing the vote - the real dupes were the marginal, pro-choice Maine voters who saw this and voted for her again because it allowed her to still claim that she’s “pro-choice”.
