A lot of nurses are the girls who bullied you in high school. That’s what’s going on. They never matured, they just found an industry with a built-in power imbalance and are continuing to use their powers for evil.

Might I suggest building a 50' wall around Mar a Lago and sending them all there?

The problem is at least in part that people assume nurses are smart and have a strong drive to care.

When I gave birth (at the hospital my husband works at) in March my husband told me to keep quiet about the vaccine. He told me there is a surprisingly large amount of anti-vax nurses and that he didn’t want a nurse to treat or care for me differently based on my pro-vax status.

Not only should they not be allowed to work in medicine anymore, given their higher duty of care, I firmly believe they’ve forfeited their right to live in society. The U.S. must have tons of barely inhabitable islands off its coasts. Give them a tent and a box of matches and leave them on one of those.

It is a damn shame that certain portions of the medical field are particularly susceptible to medical misinformation and conspiracy theories. It’s that dangerous land of knowing more than the general population, but not the next hump of knowing exactly how little you actually know about a field. 

Exactly. Fuck ‘em. If you don’t believe in medicine, you shouldn’t be working in medicine.

MY EXACT FIRST THOUGHT. What the hell, medical personnel?

My Ex was/is an Operating Room nurse. Supposedly an educated, health conscious person, and so were her co-workers.

And where the hell did they get their education and training? 

It’s absolutely insane. I heard on the news recently that we’re back to losing nearly a thousand people a day to Covid-19. When we have effective vaccines! Like....what? Excuse me?!?

What the actual fuck is wrong with these people?

Who would want an unvaccinated worker anywhere near their vulnerable newborn?  Good riddance.

Ugh, that is one of my pet peeves. Don’t pick other adults up like they’re children, it’s beyond disrespectful! I don’t even let my husband do it.
