Have you even driven the Turbo? May not be “fast” by today’s standards, but it still pulled a pretty solid 7sec-ish 0-60, and handled great.

I love this car... BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET THOSE RAIN DEFLECTORS OFF THE WINDOWS! Please, for the children.

You must be thinking of the 2.3l na motor... by 1982 standards this was a quick car.. faster than a z28 and only a few ticks behind a corvette.. FYI: Saab wasn’t “bailed out by GM” they were bought and cannibalized by GM for their technology..

2014 Dodge Avenger.

Was inspired to try this approach with my boss this morning. Do not recommend.

So then do the math and calculate the cost of a Drivetrain-only Extended Service plan (which is all that CPO covers), along with that 2 years worth of “free” maintenance (which is in reality only about 4 oil changes), and then weigh that against the increased sales price you paid for that little “CPO” tag and tell me

The only thing that the CPO Warranty covers, according to Infinity, is the drivetrain itself and PCMs. Even then, normal wear and tear is not covered. Be it both wearable parts, as well as the over all performance of the engine as parts wear down.

I am probably uniquely qualified to answer this question as I have both cars in my driveway, my wife’s CX5 and my Q50.

Brandegee, you should emphasize that the link you noted was for a Maserati with a stickshift. That’s $20k for a Ferrari motor with a manual transmission in a bona fide Italian sports car context.

You’re correct about the sun messing up the cars here, but that’s just cosmetic. So the cars here never rust and they stay intact pretty much forever, but their paint always looks like crap after 10 years or less.

See, the difference is you don’t even need to touch the four-liter to get to 250,000 miles.

Usually, the oil pump will last the life of the vehicle, the timing chain will last the life of the vehicle, the lifters will last the life of the vehicle. Yeah, it’ll leak like crazy, but seriously: just change the oil and the

It’s not the MOT that sends cars to their deaths prematurely. If cars are unsafe or polluting too much (due to broken parts) they should be taken off the road and fixed/scrapped. It’s the absurd depreciation and equally absurd insurance premiums in the UK that kill cars before their time. Imho.

I also like how these things were named BEST NEW PRODUCT of the prestigious 1991 Cincinnati International Kit Car Show. This was best new product? What was runner up, a kit that would make your Mazda GLC give you a rectal infection?

Typical Mustang owner

I Accelerate in my car every day... you don’t see me making a video about it...

You’re right. I guess what I meant is that the 2014 TDIs get the same fuel economy and power output as my 2001 TDI (though moderately modified). The newer ones are cleaner with urea injection. I think you’re right about some luxury diesels owners intent on having the longer refuel range (my wife hates refueling),

Well, to be fair, they half-assed it on their other vehicles with that super smiley grille, but the side surface detailing only made it to the Mazda5. I think the costs for tooling were probably too high, which makes it even more weird to try it on such a low volume vehicle.

Never owned either but have friends that have owned both. Jag easier to live with and better all round car. Maserati more exciting to drive and back seats are usable for normal sized human beings.

Very true although all the contemporary road tests indicate the Gransport was a huge leap over the base car in driving experience even with the paddle shift.

Venturi 400 is obscure, the stuff you two are quibbling over is mainstream.
