Hunting, sighting, target practice, science, learning, hobbyist.....the list goes on and on. There are plenty of valid reasons. Lasers are used in tons of devices. You can also make your own.

They usually denote a....well...note! Usually at the bottom. So if you scroll down you'll find:

Oh look! It's facebook 2.0!!!

Sleek and simple to use. That's what sells. Good looking unit.

"There are enough of these cases to justify a banning."

"Whilst I won't call 'SETUP' on this, it does sound awfully like the authorities wanted to publicise the consequences...."

You're not very familiar with dispatch operations are you? Someone shooting a laser pointer at aircraft needs to be stopped immediately. Thus the priority of the call that goes out. Every officer on the scene has to contact others on the scene. They can't just do a drive by when they see other officers are there.

The CO pilot....riiiiight! Because the pilot was in the bathroom eh? This sounds a lot like blame everything on the private.

Does he wear a pink scarf?

Feel better now? Feel like the woman you want to be? Good.

Eh, I don't mind it. Not the end of the world. I have a twitter account for one thing and one thing only. To link to Giz. Giz is the only thing I link it to and I have to change my password every 2 weeks because my twitter account keeps getting hijacked. Gee, who could be the problem? There's a serious leak

Hope you had fun typing all that. I didn't read it. That facts have been presented. Do with them whatever you want.

"but that's not what we've been discussing. "

If that's what helps you sleep at night then by all means, kid yourself.

"when it's not really anything but a minor improvement on existing hardware."

"But not "OMG, WE'RE IN THE FUTURE" innovative like most people seem to feel it is."

Yeah, that's it. I'm totally trolling.

Wow, talk about denial. The flag in the image on this article is not being DISPLAYED.

Until your post I had forgotten about a demo I saw.....I want to say CES 2009? Anyway, they put a piece of paper down on the screen with handwriting on it and it digitized every letter/word. Pretty slick. So basically, the screen can be used as scanner. Going back to IceMetalPunk, is a scanner innovative? Nope.

I was already using those buttons for other things and like I said, the cradle wasn't working anymore. In fact they extended the warranty because the cradle was faulty through manufacturing defect. But I missed the boat on that one.
