I'm starting college this fall and I am interested in this method.

I'm considering getting this, but not to protect my phone. It'd be nice to tell which side is the screen by touch. And so it wouldn't be so inclined to slipping when I rest it on my leg.

@Blake Lagasse: Light painting is probably one of the easiest and most fun types of photography. Most basic P&S cameras have a manual mode that lets you do 15 or 30 second exposures. Just set it on a table and wave a flashlight around to get started. Then trace a friend with light. Then you just play around!

Are you looking mainly for spheres like water or glass, or are spherical lenses fair game, too?

NOOO! I wasn't able to check Giz yesterday so my image wasn't posted :(.

@Jenkinsm: I've used Grooveshark, but I want a solution that will let me use it on my iPhone. Grooveshark only has an app in Cydia. I bet their app would be approved now, but I need something on the App Store.

FUN FACT: I went to fireworks with the winner, and as we were shooting, right after he shot that picture, he told me "I have a winner!" (as in his favorite. He was stunned when I called to tell him he won).

@MistyGanado: Probably not, but that's part of the composition of the image as a whole.

I love the winning shot...but I feel pretty stupid; Ansel is a friend of mine and I went to fireworks with him...

This morning I got 73 kbps up. In the same place a week ago I got 210 up (not great but better). I live in Minneapolis.

I'm really liking Rdio so far and may subscribe. I wish they had a larger library, though (where's the vampire weekend??).

@shocksopping: "numerous handsets [...] make it the vastly superior phone"

@StWaldo: And that you can export your passwords to view it in any web browser, but it's still encrypted!

@Institutions: It's okay: they're wrong about it being Arial! It's Helvetica, of course. And Helvetica is beautiful.

VOTE: 1Password

@Kevster: I'm LONG overdue for RSS bankruptcy.

I originally saw this in WIRED's January issue and have wanted to do this ever since...
