I thought the idea was there was a huge Scottish migration there at the time and it made sense because it’s a place Claire had the best grip of the history. 

I feel like rural early America will offer the same pleasing greenery, but I also feel like the history is not as intriguing. The highland culture on the edge of destruction is just one of those era’s that feel steeped in compelling mystery.
