Yeah but Tyrion arguably only did it because Cersei went batshit and imprisoned him in the first place. And then rolled out that sham trial which dragged Shae back into King's Landing (and presumably into Tywin's bed too).

Ghost of Stannis: (croaks) "Has."
Jon Snow: Wut?
GoS: (croaks) "None of you has." Not "have".
Davos: Lol.

And people who name their swords

I think even the most diehard Baratheon runner-up lordling cousin would have seen the ships coming from miles away, not to mention THREE DEADASS FIRE-BREATHING DRAGONS flapping around, and made some new career decisions.

The regal yet childlike observation is spot on, and I think it links quite closely to the strongly primal, elemental qualities of Cheryl. Forever old, always young. Did anyone ever discuss the thematic tragedy of fiery Jason meeting his fate in a river? Of course, he was somehow considered the weaker of the twins, but

Oh God, like Rosewood and Ravenswood? Please, no.

You get a brooch! And YOU get a brooch! And YOU get a brooch! Everyone gets a brooch!!

The thought going through Howard's mind when Kim shot back his justification for not hiring Jimmy (nepotism) by asking about the other Hamlin in HHM: "Never have I looked more like an asshole." And he didn't even come back with anything! He just sat there and took it! Like an asshole! Like he's been taking bullets

In the past he was always so conscientious about making sure any room that Chuck was about to enter was safe from electrical interference. Did anyone hear Chuck's suit rustling as he entered the room? I

Point taken re: the deal with Mesa Verde.

I have a ton of sympathy for Chuck. I really think he's more to be pitied than censured. The central tragedy of The Ballad of Chuck and Jimmy is that they are family and will always love and hate and delight and disappoint each other.

In my (admittedly limited) experience, real pearls are usually individually knotted, so even if the strand breaks you'll lose one or two pearls at most. Faux pearls are more likely to be strung all together. This probably was an artistic decision on the part of the director, to have the pearls scattering dramatically

Late to the discussion again!! I just started watching (IKR). So we have both Underwoods being knocked down this episode. They've been passed the black egg, which they have no choice in — "WTF it's a black egg!" "Yes, but look, it has the POTUS and FLOTUS signatures engraved on it!" — like some kind of consolation

Late to this discussion, but I kinda thought that Frank's interactions with Freddy have always skewed towards the genuine and I don't see Freddy's last words to him as some embittered statement of disillusionment. Frank largely goes out of his way to keep Freddy and the BBQ joint out of his professional sphere, it's a
