lol. I haven’t heard someone use “slavery times” since the 6th grade. it sounded dumb then, too.

this guy’s thoughts are as rank as his beard. throw him into the sea.

the fuck are you even talking about, you twit?

always some idiot spluttering “First Amendment!” when they don’t understand it.

Tracy Morgan hated when Fallon broke. He addressed it in a NY Post thing, and in his memoir I Am The New Black, which, btw, I highly recommend listening as an audiobook since he goes off course and starts talking mad shit. The best part is when he lays into Chris Kattan and Cherie Oteri for being mean to him as well

*gets off F-14, takes off shirt, oils up bare chest, plays volleyball*

but they are delicious, which seems like an appropriate punishment for such an asshole bird.

hey toots, shut the fuck up and go get me a coffee. nobody cares what a half-man like you thinks.

ok. i’m a producer with over twenty years of experience of recording and listening to a wide variety of singers. i’m going to trust my ears on this one. if you threw this performance into an auto tune plug-in like Antares, the pitch detector would be freaking out during the TS parts and would be relatively chill

fyi, the video’s audio is poor quality, but there’s no feedback or echo. listen to the snare. there would be trails coming off that thing if there were feedback or echo. there is none. what you’re hearing are compression artifacts, which cause distortion and that warbling sound in the audio. what it’s not doing is

I have heard Beyonce live, and while she’s very good & head and shoulders above TS, every singer occasionally hits a bad note, even Beyonce. This doesn’t take away from the experience. That’s all I’m saying.

the fact this TS performance sounds good to you means you don’t know what you’re talking about from a technical perspective. you like TS. cool. that’s causing you to hear things that aren’t there.

lol. come on. this was not a blue note, which is just using a flatted 3rd or 7th. this was going for a note and whiffing hard. maybe Taylor was nervous or just had a bad night, which is fine! but this is a classic case of it’s not raining, you’re pissing on my leg.

There’s some pitchiness in this Lynne/Moorer performance (though it’s certainly not as bad as the above TS performance), but ultimately who cares? People don’t go to concerts for absolutely perfect in-pitch vocal performances. Yeah, we don’t want to see someone wailing like an alley cat, but cell phone footage omits

The audio quality is bad, but you can hear that Taylor’s pitch is flat in certain spots, especially on “Rhiannon”. I’m no fan of Taylor for a number of non-musical reasons, but people have bad performances from time to time. If smart phones were ubiquitous in the 60s, 70s, & 80s, it would be super easy to pull up

I listen to the show, & while I have some issues with it (e.g., Georgia omits details that she deems too gruesome and isn’t as good of a storyteller as Karen.), I enjoy it. But important? I’m not sure about that. Seems to me the strength of the podcast is the charm & chemistry of their friendship. Curious as to why

I watched the game, and that ref was having a really bad day. I’m always down to go full-conspiracy theory, but I think it was a case of fucking up and then fucking up again and her having that in her head as she fucked up more & more spiraling into an absolute mess.

I mean, it’s an E! show. We both know how this is going to go down.

I get that everyone on the internet is a lonely shut-in, but people who engage with the world and still keep up social bonds have varying ways they can show affection to each other. Coming from a Hispanic family, I had to watch the gif a couple times before I realized people thought the kiss was weird.
