No reason to suspect that you are incorrect, just wanted to add that I’ve accidentally over powered a capacitor before, and a loud pop is how I would describe the RUD. Caps could be in any number of things in the electronics.  So maybe not conclusive evidence of the fuse.

it’s a lot more fun being able to cycle through the gears and have the satisfaction of shifting up from third to fourth (the best gear change)“

Rhetorical question?

Yeah, except I would guess they have a lot more start-stop cycles then a non-hybrid engine with similar mileage.

As a college student in Colorado trying to get home for Christmas break in 2005 (maybe 2006?), I arrived at Denver International Airport just as a massive snow storm hit. Me and all the other poor saps at the airport got to spend the next 3 days together while the national guard trucked in food to keep us all from

At this age, treatment by previous owners is much more important than country of origin. Much to my disbelief and disdain, our 71 MGB is dead reliable and our 68 Camaro is a complete lemon.

I think MGB parts are abound more so because of British Motor Heritage and the MGOC than commonality with Japanese cars
